Honour the heritage of the Underground Railroad and the black settlers who came to Canada before the onset of the American Civil War. Our quilt blocks have been researched for their significance to the escaping slaves and we include this history and route of the Railroad to Canada, and each block’s meaning and hidden language. 19th Century reproduction fabrics are used throughout. This is a scrappy quilt full of history (colours vary from the photo). Blocks range from simple to medium skill level.

The kit includes all heritage fabrics and instructions for each block, sashing, border & binding. Finished size is approx. 68" x 84".
